PORTFOLIO: Consequence- Central African Republic: two years on from the outbreak of the crisis

Africa, Central African Republic, Yaloke. Yaloke, the town in the west of the country where over 400 Fulani (Muslims) shepherds live in extreme conditions. They are unable to leave the hill because they are surrounded by Christian militia and because the CAR government is not prepared to allow an Islamic community to flee into the bordering villages for fear of becoming an accessory to an ethnic cleansing operation in the country. 11th February 2015©Marco Gualazzini
