PORTFOLIO: Consequence- Central African Republic: two years on from the outbreak of the crisis

Africa, Central African Republic, Bambari. The town of Bambari, in the north-east of the country, is the front line of the conflict in the CAR, since it lies on the border between the west, in the hands of the Anti-Balaka gangs and the east, under the control of the Seleka rebels. The Ouaka river divides Bambari into two parts - on one side, Christians, on the other Muslims – and marks the front line of the conflict. The Blue Berets of MINUSCA, patrol the bridge which divides the city. 7th February 2015©Marco Gualazzini
